On Thursday November 20, 2014 at approximately 12:37 p.m. Officers of the Double Oak and Flower Mound Police Departments responded to a Burglary of a Vehicle call in the 500blk of Whispering Oaks Drive, Denton County, Double Oak, TX 75077.


A resident had gone outside her home and observed four unknown males in and around her sports utility vehicle. She ordered the unknown men to leave her property and they said, “No.”


The homeowner went inside her residence and called 9-1-1. While she was in the residence she reported hearing what sounded like a small caliber gun being fired.


The males are described as follows:


  1. W/M/40’s with a part in his hair and a “nice dress shirt”.


  1. H/M heavyset wearing a baby blue t-shirt shirt and jeans.

The reporting person did not observe any unknown vehicles parked on the street and it is possible that the suspects approached on foot after having parked a car at another location.

Please contact your police department via 9-1-1 if you observe any persons engaged in suspicious activity. Please take valuables inside your residence, secure cars and close garages to make Double Oak a less attractive target for burglars.
