At the March 6, 2017 meeting, the Town Council approved the interlocal agreement between the town and Denton County for the Waketon Road widening and drainage improvement project. The town also approved the engineering services contract. News from Town Hall March 2017 Dear Residents and Friends, On behalf of Officer Michael Wyman, and his family, thank you for the well-wishes, prayers and heartfelt support. On Sunday evening February 19 Michael’s wife Marsha experienced a medical emergency that resulted in her being transported via medical helicopter to a regional trauma center. Community Pancake Breakfast and Children’s Easter Egg Hunt 9 – 11 am Saturday, April 8th We invite all Double Oak families to join us for a Pancake Breakfast at Town Hall at 9:00 a.m. Pancakes, sausage, coffee and juice will be served, cooked by club members. The price for breakfast will be $5 per adult and $3 per child. Sign in at breakfast so the eggs can be hidden while your family eats and be sure to bring a basket. The Egg Hunt will be at 10 am.
