Due to a court ordered legal action starting Thursday morning March 23, 2017 and ending Friday evening March 24, 2017, there will be three large dumpsters, surrounded by barricades and cones, in the 200 block of North Simmons, Double Oak, Texas. We ask that you drive with caution and use courtesy with fellow motorists who may be slowing down near the barricades.

At the March 6, 2017 meeting, the Town Council approved the interlocal agreement between the town and Denton County for the Waketon Road widening and drainage improvement project. The town also approved the engineering services contract.
