News from Town Hall February 2015 At our January 19th council meeting, a new business item was placed on the agenda to introduce and discuss Local Sales Tax Options. Double Oak’s current sales tax rate is 7.25%. Double Oak, like most cities in Texas, imposes a Regular Sales Tax of 1%.
