11-01-2014 7:33 a.m. – Alarm – 8300 blk. Justin Rd., Double Oak – Employee at business accidentally activated the alarm.
11-01-2014 2:16 p.m. – Solicitor Complaint – 100 blk. West Carruth Ln., Double Oak – Door to door solicitors without a permit. Subjects issued warning citations.
11-01-2014 4:22 p.m. – Found Dog – 1300 blk. Saddlebrook Ct., Bartonville – A resident wanted to turn a stray dog over to animal control.
11-02-2014 2:03 p.m. – Conduct Indicating Need For Supervision – 800 blk. Cross Timbers Dr., Double Oak – Four teen males were stopped while they were rolling a “Target” shopping cart down the road. Subjects agreed to push the cart to town hall, where it was loaded into a utility vehicle and returned to Target.
11-02-2014 7:45 p.m. – Arrest – 300 blk. Waketon Rd., Double Oak – During the conduct of a traffic stop officer determined that the driver didn’t have a license and was wanted by Flower Mound Police for traffic warrants. Subject was taken into custody and transported to Flower Mound jail.
11-02-2014 8:30 p.m. – Animal Complaint – 300 blk. Meadowknoll, Double Oak – A resident reported that their neighbor left a dog outside that had been whining for hours. The dog appeared to have been taking indoors before police arrival.
11-02-2014 10:08 p.m. – Animal Complaint – 300 blk. Meadowknoll, Double Oak – A resident reported their neighbor’s dog barking. Officer was unable to locate the dog.
11-04-2014 12:34 a.m. – Assist Agency – 600 blk. Chinn Chapel Rd., Copper Canyon – Officer responded to the scene of a possible disturbance as the cover officer for Denton County Sheriff’s Department. Officer remained on the perimeter until relieved by a deputy.
11-04-2014 3:28 a.m. – Alarm – 100 blk. Whistling Duck Ln., Double Oak – Officer responded to the activation of a burglar alarm and met with the resident. No crime was detected.
11-04-2014 12:35 p.m. – Alarm – 100 blk. Creek Side Dr., Double Oak – Officers responded to alarm and found no signs of an offense.
11-05-2014 8:45 a.m. – Animal Complaint – 100 blk. Simmons Rd., Double Oak – Report of two dogs running loose on Simmons Rd. Officer was unable to find the animals.
11-07-2014 8:37 p.m. – Assist Agency – 9000 blk. Cedar Ridge, Lantana – Officer assisted a deputy with searching a model home. It was determined that the house had been broken into, through a window, and that the new refrigerator was missing.
11-08-2014 11:59 p.m. – Accident – Chinn Chapel, Flower Mound – Officer located a motorcycle laying on its side in the roundabout. Officer was unable to locate the rider.
11-08-2014 4:26 a.m. – Assist Agency – 4100 blk. Barton Creek, Highland Village – Officer assisted Highland Village PD with investigation into a wanted motorist.
11-08-2014 2:50 p.m. – Assist Agency – Lantana – Denton County Deputy requested assistance on resolving a dispute about pecans being harvested from trees on the golf course.
11-09-2014 4:13 p.m. – Assist Agency – 100 blk. McMakin, Bartonville – Officer responded to a minor accident in Bartonville.
11-09-2014 4:57 p.m. – Alarm – 100 blk. McMakin – Alarm triggered by owner error.
11-10-2014 8:07 a.m. – Motorist Assist – 900 blk. Cross Timbers Dr., Double Oak – Officer assisted young male motorist who’s Jeep was having problems running. Officer waited with the juvenile until his father arrived to tow the vehicle home.
11-10-2014 10:35 a.m. – Alarm – 9100 blk. Penny Ln., Lantana – Alarm accidentally triggered by cleaning crew.
11-10-2014 4:27 p.m. – Animal Complaint – 100 blk. Timberleaf Dr., Double Oak – A resident reported two large dogs trying to get into his backyard. Officer corralled both animals and transported them to their owners.
11-10-2014 8:30 p.m. – Medical Call – 200 blk. Double Oaks Dr., Double Oak – Officers responded with fire department to a medical assist call.
11-11-2014 12:34 p.m. – Alarm – 400 blk. Cross Timbers Dr., Double Oak – Residence secure.
11-12-2014 3:48 p.m. – Debit Card Abuse – 6200 blk. Kings Rd., Double Oak – An unknown person has been using the Complainant’s debit card without permission.
11-12-2014 6:10 p.m. – Assist Agency – 600 blk. Chinn Chapel, Copper Canyon – Officer remained on scene while Deputy issued a criminal trespass warning.
11-13-2014 9:46 a.m. – Open Door – 500 blk. Waketon, Double Oak – A witness reported an open residential door. Officer arrived and determined that there were no signs of criminal activity.
11-13-2014 12:12 a.m. – Assist Agency – 2000 blk. Yellowstone, Corinth – Corinth unit needed cover for a traffic stop. Double Oak Officer remained on scene until another Corinth unit arrived.
11-13-2014 3:08 p.m. – Public Assist – 200 blk. Simmons Rd., Double Oak – A resident needed help for their donkey that had its head stuck in a fence.
11-13-2014 7:43 p.m. – Assist Agency – 8400 blk. FM 407, Flower Mound – Double Oak Officer located a suspected intoxicated driver that was being looked for by Highland Village PD. Motorist was taken into custody by Highland Village officers.
11-13-2014 11:22 p.m. – Disturbance – 100 blk. Twin Lakes Dr., Double Oak – Verbal disturbance between adults. No crime committed.
11-14-2014 9:30 a.m. – Animal Complaint – 100 blk. Trailing Oaks Dr., Double Oak – Two large dogs tunneled into their neighbor’s yard. Owner of the dogs was contacted and issued a warning.
11-14-2014 2:48 p.m. – Disturbance – 2600 blk. FM407, Bartonville – Report of a road rage incident involving two motorists. Complainant believed that a subject in a black Ford F250 had been trying to force him off the road.
11-15-2014 8:56 a.m. – Alarm – 6000 blk. Kings Rd., Double Oak – Audible alarm reported by the complainant’s neighbor.
11-15-2014 6:50 p.m. – Welfare Check – 300 blk. Valley View Dr., Double Oak – A motorist had been demonstrating the “SOS” feature / button in their Lexus and accidentally sent an emergency request to 9-1-1.
11-16-2014 5:10 a.m. – Assist Agency – 700 blk. Old Justin Rd., Argyle – Argyle needed a cover officer while conducting an investigation and arrest of a person wanted out of Denton PD.
11-16-2014 5:00 p.m. – Disturbance – 300 blk. Cedarcrest Ln., Double Oak – Disturbance between adults, verbal in nature.
11-16-2014 9:26 p.m. – Accident – 800 blk. Gibbons Rd., Bartonville – Accident investigation with report taken.
11-19-2014 5:16 p.m. – Disturbance – 100 blk. Hickory Crossing Ln., Denton County – Argyle and Double Oak Officers assisted the Sheriff’s Department with a disturbance in Denton County.
11-19-2014 8:12 p.m. – Parking Complaint – 100 blk. Fox Trot Ln., Double Oak – Officers received a report that persons attending a large party were parking and blocking the roadway. Officers contacted the motorists and they moved their vehicles.
11-20-2014 12:39 p.m. – Burglary of a Vehicle – 500 blk. Whispering Oaks Dr., Double Oak – A resident reported that her vehicle had been broken into and that the suspects had fled on foot. Resident also reported that a gunshot may have been fired. Officers were unable to locate any suspects or evidence that a gun had been discharged.
11-20-2014 4:51 p.m. – Solicitor Complaint – 200 blk. Colonial Ct., Double Oak – A resident reported two solicitors without a permit. Subjects were issued warnings.
11-20-2014 10:15 p.m. – Disturbance – 300 blk. Thornhill Circle, Double Oak – A minor disturbance between parties who did not want to press charges against each other. Officers documented the incident and the parties separated for the night.
11-21-2014 1:13 a.m. – Burglary In Progress – 900 blk. Meadow Dr., Copper Canyon – Double Oak Officer responded to a request for assistance from the Sheriff’s Department to a burglary in progress call. Further investigation revealed it was construction workers working late.
11-23-2014 1:02 a.m. – Conduct Indicating Need For Supervision – 2200 blk. Jeter, Bartonville – Double Oak Officer assisted Bartonville with detaining juveniles who had been observed driving recklessly and doing donuts in a parking lot. A parent was contacted who reported to the scene and retrieved their juveniles.
11-23-2014 6:50 p.m. – Disturbance – 800 blk. Copper Canyon Rd., Denton County – A rolling disturbance stopped at the fire department. Officers determined that the disturbance was verbal in nature and remained on scene until arrival of a Deputy.
11-24-2014 1:22 a.m. – Conduct Indicating Need For Supervision – 100 blk. West Carruth Ln., Double Oak – Officer assisted a concerned mother with locating her missing son. Son was found in the backseat of a car parked on Carruth Ln. The juvenile’s mother took custody of him at the scene.
11-25-2014 4:46 p.m. – Animal Bite – 100 blk. Victory Ln., Double Oak – Report of an animal bite as a resident attempted to stop his dogs from fighting. Animal control was notified.
11-25-2014 8:20 p.m. – Accident – 7900 blk. Justin Rd., Denton County – A motorist struck a deer causing damage to their car and injuring the animal. State police worked the accident and a Texas Game Warden removed the deer.
11-27-2014 3:27 a.m. – Animal Complaint – 300 blk Thornhill Ct., Double Oak – Report of a barking dog. Officer contacted the homeowner and had them take their dog inside.
11-28-2014 1:40 p.m. – Alarm – 100 blk. Victory Ln., Double Oak – Officer could find no sign of criminal activity.
11-28-2014 3:59 p.m. – Shots Fired – 1100 block Thornridge Circle, Argyle – Double Oak Officer remained on scene while Argyle PD conducted investigation into a window that had been shot on the second floor of a house.
11-28-2014 8:01 p.m. – Alarm – 100 blk. Twin Lakes Dr., Double Oak – Accidental activation.
11-28-2014 10:53 p.m. – Animal Complaint – 400 blk. Simmons Rd., Double Oak – Complaint about two dogs barking for over an hour.
11-30-2014 3:05 p.m. – Solicitor Complaint – 100 blk. Park Ln., Double Oak – Unknown person was passing out flyers offering tree trimming services.
11-30-2014 11:55 p.m. – Assist Agency – 500 blk. Hwy 377 N, Argyle – Double Oak Officer provided cover to an Argyle Officer arresting a driver for possession of narcotics.
