09-24-2015 – Arrest – 500 blk. Kings Rd., Double Oak – During the course of a traffic contact it was determined that a 26 year old male was driving without a license and was wanted for two misdemeanor warrants out of Roanoke, TX.  The motorist was taken into custody and transported to jail.

09-24-2015 – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – 200 blk. Simmons Rd., Double Oak – During the course of a traffic contact an officer smelled marijuana.  The officer confiscated alleged drug paraphernalia and issued citations to appear in court.

09-26-2015 – Suspicious Circumstances – 8100 blk. Justin Rd., Double Oak – An officer on patrol at 11:09 p.m. observed an occupied and unfamiliar car, parked behind a church.  Upon further investigation it was determined that there was no ongoing criminal activity.

10-02-2015 – Criminal Trespass – 100 blk. W. Carruth Ln., Double Oak – A homeowner reported that known persons entered their residence without permission.

10-04-2015 – 911 Hang-up – 7000 blk. Justin Rd., Denton County – A 911 hang-up call was reported as having been made from a local business.  Further investigation revealed that an employee had accidentally dialed 911.

10-05-2015 – Assist Fire Department – 100 blk. Oak Grove Circle, Double Oak.

 10-07-2015 – Alarm – 200 blk. Lake Trail, Double Oak – Residential alarm.  House was determined to be secure.

10-09-2015 – Motorist Assist – Kings Rd. / Lusk Ln., Double Oak – Report of a vehicle broke down at that location.  Officer later found the reported vehicle, being towed towards Simmons Rd.  Vehicle was later towed by a local wrecker service.

10-11-2015 – Alarm – 200 blk. Oak Trail, Double Oak – Officer determined the audible alarm was for a septic system.

10-12-2015 – Shots Fired – 200 blk. Fawn Hollow Dr., Lantana – DOPD responded to a shots fired call.  Officer acted as a cover unit for deputies who investigated the call.

10-12-2015 – Assist Fire Department – 100 blk. Highview Dr., Double Oak – Medical call.

10-13-2015 – Assist Fire Department – 100 blk. Kyle Ct., Double Oak – Officer assisted with establishing a perimeter and speaking with homeowners after a tractor operator ruptured a natural gas line.

10-13-2015 – Motorist Assist – 500 blk. McMakin Rd., Bartonville – Provided traffic control for a stalled vehicle until it could be towed from the roadway.

10-16-2015 – Forgery / Fraud – 300 blk. Waketon Rd., Double Oak – Complainant reported having “ransom ware” downloaded into his cellphone.

10-16-2015 – Traffic Accident – 8300 blk. Justin Rd., Double Oak – Three vehicle collision resulting in one motorist having to be towed away.

10-17-2015 – Traffic Accident – Jernigan Rd. at Copper Canyon Rd., Copper Canyon – ATV crash involving three juveniles.

10-17-2015 – Assist Fire Department – 100 blk. Whistling Duck Ln., Double Oak – Medical call.

10-18-2015 – Assist Fire Department – 1100 blk. Claire St., Lantana – FD requested assistance breaching a residential door.  Entry was gained without having to use force.

10-18-2015 – Alarm – 100 blk. McMakin Rd., Bartonville – DOPD assisted with investigating a business burglary alarm.

10-18-2015 – Assist Agency – Bartonville – DOPD assisted Bartonville PD with a distraught person.

10-19-2015 – Meet Complainant – 100 blk. E. View Ct., Double Oak – A resident reported having received a threat by phone.

10-21-2015 – Disturbance – 1600 blk. Broome Rd., Bartonville – DOPD assisted with issuance of a criminal trespass warning.

10-22-2016 – Noise Complaint(s) – 200 blk. Meadow Knoll, Double Oak – Multiple reports of unknown persons revving engines and causing loud noise.  Officer was unable to locate the source of the complaints.

10-24-2015 – 911 Hang-up – 300 blk. East Carruth Ln., Double Oak – No criminal activity.

10-25-2015 – Arrest – 900 blk. Stonecrest Rd., Argyle – Assisted Argyle PD with a warrant arrest.

10-25-2015 – Suspicious Circumstances – 100 blk. Meadowknoll, Double Oak – A resident report hearing door knobs rattling, dogs barking and a car door slam.  Complainant concerned about someone being outside their home.  Officer searched the perimeter of the house and patrolled the neighborhood but were unable to locate a suspect.

10-26-2015 – Public Service – 300 blk. Waketon Rd., Double Oak – Officer assisted a resident with a water line break and were able to shut off the water main.

10-26-2015 – Breach of Computer Security – 200 blk. Cedarcrest Ln., Double Oak – An unknown person contacted a resident by telephone claiming to be from their contract information technology security provider.  Resident was convinced that the caller was legitimate and gave the suspect remote access to his computer.  Unknown suspect then downloaded key logger software causing an economic loss for the complainant.
